This Battle of Iwo Jima collectible depicts the raising of the Stars and Stripes atop Mount Suribachi on the island of Iwo Jima during World War II. This collectible is brand new and in it's original package! The bronze statue is mounted on a beautiful hardwood base that has sand from the island of Iwo Jima affixed to the bronze base from the island of Iwo Jima!

This unique collectible was first created for the 226th MARINE CORPS BALL held on Okinawa, Japan in 2001. It has been copied for later U.S. Marine Corps balls due to its extreme popularity and now has been developed to commemorate the raising of our flag on the island of Iwo Jima. This collectible honors the men and women of the United States Marine Corps that serve, those that have served, and especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to their country since the Marine Corps founding in a small bar called Tun Tavern, November 10, 1775.

You can search the internet for something similar and you're going to experience sticker shock! This is by far the best deal anywhere as far as price goes and it is the only one that I have found with actual sand from the island of Iwo Jima. I have a limited amount of these one-of-a-kind-collectibles remaining and once these are gone you'll be at the mercy of extreme prices for something far less than the item I am offering. This truly is a rare item and would be a fine addition to anyone's collection.
